  • Every year companies harden, temper, anneal, shrink-fit, stress-relieve, bond, mold, pre and post heat for welding or generally heat billions of metal parts in some way. In many of these treatments it is necessary to affect only a few millimeters of the part’s depth. The area beneath the surface can be treated, but doing so often takes hours and is not practical for many manufacturing assembly processes utilizing massive energy consuming furnaces. 
  • There is a need for a method to attain temperatures quickly and hold the temperature precisely in metals. MACC has answered this need with a powerful technology capable of being delivered and operated in many practical applications. 
  • The delivery system for MACC can come in many different configurations, sizes and methods. MACC has developed a relatively simple method we call MACC Heat. This is a simple system that operates similar to a stove/grill but with the end result of immediate heat reaching up to 1,500ºF (815C) in minutes and holding the temperature with +/- several degrees. We have attained 2,012ºF (1,100 C), however we need to develop this game changing technology. In addition, the MACC Heater is capable of creating various temperature zones and configurations if required.
